The Northwest Missouri State men's basketball team won their 44th straight game and improved to 6-0 this season with a 102-59 win over William Jewell at Bearcat Arena last night.

Diego Bernard and Trevor Hudgins each finished with double-doubles.
Bernard had 21 points and 11 rebounds. Trevor Hudgins put up 21 points with 11 assists.
Ryan Hawkins scored 19 points and Luke Waters 14.

Bearcat head coach Ben McCollum credits the win to his team's preparation for the Cardinals.

"I thought we got really good shots.  I thought we shared it.  I thought defensively more importantly we were very very locked in.   We were active with our hands and active with the ball.  We didn't give them second chances, and I think that all goes back to our preparation."

The Bearcats are off until Wednesday night when they host Illinois-Springfield in a six o'clock tip off at Bearcat Arena.

We'll have the broadcast beginning at 5:30 with our pregame.
